Where can I find the mounting tracks for making beaded curtains?
I am interested in making some beaded curtains for my living room, but don't know where to go to get the beaded curtain mounting tracks. I'm not sure I am calling them by the correct name. The beaded curtains I want to make need to be somewhat full in order to block pedestrians from being able to see inside the home. I read one article that said I should use eye hooks to attach all the beaded strings, but I think they would have to be spaced more than I would like them to be in order to screw them into the curtain rod. If there is anyone that has any advice I am all ears. Thanks a million~

- I have three suggestions for you: 1. A hospital supply co. Here is just one example. You may be able to find a cheaper resource. http://medicalproductsdirect.stores.yahoo.net/hanprivscree.html 2. Amazon sells a beaded curtain that comes with (2) 12" mounting tracks (including hardware). You could use the hardware for your own beaded curtains. http://www.amazon.com/American-Science-Surplus-BEADED-CURTAIN/dp/B000BF3TCA 3. Here is a company that sells a variety of mounting hardware for curtains. http://www.recmar.com/installation.htm
- Instead of mounting the strings of beads onto a rod, sew them onto the bottom of twill tape the width of the opening you are making the curtain for. You can sew the strings of beads as close together as you want. Then on the top of the twill tape, sew cafe curtain rings. Then you can just put a curtain rod through the curtain rings.
