shower curtains?
What is the right way to hang a shower curtain. Hang the bottom inside the tub or hanging outside the tub. Which looks better? I mean for decorative purpose only.

- Inside the bath when you're using it, then leave it open to dry and stop it going mouldy.
- If it hangs outside, then the water will drip on the floor, so usually people hang them outside until they have a shower and then put them inside until it dries.
- bottom inside the tub otherwise the water will go on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- If you are using the shower then inside. So that all the water runs into the bath, and not on the floor. When not using the shower you can hang them on the outside.
- you have to have the curtain in the bath when you are using it or all the water that hits will run down outside the bath
- I personally like it outside the tub, but if you have a cat or puppy that may be a problem. They could ruin the curtain. You could cut it so it goes to the very edge of the tub and then it wouldnt matter! E.S.
- It looks better outside the tub ...but just remember to put it inside when showering! (thats if you meant the plastic one. Any cloth or decorative one would stay on the outside.
- outside- when not using inside- when using
- inside the tub it then drain into the tub and not on your floor
- I find when your not using the shower the curtains tend to look better on the outside of the tub, it gives the room a more decorated feel.
- You should hang the bottom of the shower curtain inside the tub, because that way it works better.
- you're kidding, right?
- I've got the perfect cheat - have a clear or semi-translucent one with a design on it on the outside and hang it with another that's a solid block of colour that sits inside the bath - then you have the best of both worlds and it looks really funky too!
- inside when you take a shower, and outside if you want it to dry
- Or you could do what my fiance and I do. Buy yourself a nice decorative cloth or whatever material curtain you want for the outside of the tub, and hang the clear plastic one on the inside so that the water doesn't get all over your floor and rot it out. You can hang them both on the same hooks, and you get functionality and decor at the same time.
- You should use a liner with the decorative shower curtain... liner goes inside the tub, shower curtain outside.
- hanging outside looks better decoratively. inside for functionality.
- inside the tub when in use outside when not in use or hang it back with ribbon or something else
- A liner hags inside the tub and the decorative curtain outside. That is why it is okay to have a fabric curtain as long as the liner is plastic and is the only thing that will ever get wet.
