How do you use blackout fabric curtain lining?
I'm going to buy some blackout fabric curtain lining thats 145 in width and 100 in length. Do i just cut it in half and sew it on my curtains or is their an easier way to use them?

- Cut it to fit the curtains and sew it on.
- As the fabric will only be supporting its own weight you can make life easier by using a fabric adhesive if you want.
- Much easier to put another rod behind your curtains and hang the lining separate. You will need to cut it and hem to size and add a rod pocket.
- I put mine on a separate rod. If you attach the blackout fabric to the curtains, you will never be able to get any light through the window. Since mine are on a separate rod, I can darken the room when the sun in shinning through the windows during the summer, I don't use the blackout fabric during the winter.
