- i always hang mine outside when im not using it...
- out. if its in then it wud get in ur way.
- outside.. looks better
- i do it on the outside of the bath..
- Inside. Otherwise the water hits the curtain and flows down to the floor instead of into the tub.
- the plastic goes inside the tub and the curtain cover on the outside. If not then the floor will get all wet.
- the liner should be inside the tub while the actual curtain is more for decoration and stays on the outside
- Inside the tub if you are taking a shower. If you want to take a bath then I like to put it out so it's not in the way.
- well in my shower i have two. one is water proof and is inside the bathtub while the other is a decorative one and hangs on the outside.
- Get a liner and have it hang in, and the curtain can hang on the outside. If it's a single plastic curtain, have it on the inside. If you don't, you'll have water all over the floor.
- The inside curtain should be plastic and hang inside the tub. If there is a decorative outer curtain it hangs in front of the tub.
- hang it outside the bathtub
- plastic/vinyl liner on the inside and the decorative curtain on the outside
- i have twon one plain clear wite one that goes inside and a decorated one that goes outside so it doesnt get wet
- the decorate shower curtain out of the tub and you buy a clear, begie or watever other color curtain you want and that one goes on the inside so the water won't come out of the shower
- While taking a shower most definitly hang them inside. Otherwise, they look best hanging out.
- The way I've always done it is have the decorative shower curtain hanging on the outside. And then hang a shower curtain liner on the inside... so the side of the tub is between the two. They're both hung from the same hooks. I just like the way my shower curtain looks hanging down to the floor. And it was expensive and dry clean only, so the liner helps keep it cleaner.
- you always hang the shower curtains INSIDE, repeat INSIDE!!!!! otherwise the water runs down the side and saturates your floor - a great way to slip and hurt yourself (i am currently limping because i slipped on a wet floor in the bathroom and hurt my toe! -- and that was a week ago already) so in the interests of safety especially, hang them on the inside!!! - but make them the right length otherwise you stand on them. hope this helps -- this really is the right way! :-)
- What I do is line my shower curtain with a cheap clear plastic shower curtain liner, (sometimes even the dollar store has them) I hang this liner on the inside of the bathtub, with the prettier one on the outside. I do that because if you hang your nice one on the inside to take a shower (without a liner), then put it back on the outside for "show" it will drip all over the floor. The Liner is good because then when it gets all soap scummy I just replace it with a new one. My nice outside curtain stays nice and new looking.
- Think about the logistics, here. You're in the shower and the water invariably splashes on the inside of the shower curtain. As it drips down the curtain, it will land on the bathroom floor if the curtain is outside the tub. If it's inside the tub, it will drip into the tub where it's already wet -- that's where all the other water that didn't make it to the inside of the curtain is! So, it just makes sense that the curtain is on the inside of the tub. In some cases, there are two parts to the curtains - just to alleviate the confusion...So both parties can be right. ya know, husband says leave it outside and wife says I vote for inside.........There is a decorative, colorful curtain (intended for outside the tub/shower) sometimes made out of a material closer to cotton, but not always. Then there's the traditional plastic curtain that coordinates with the outside curtain but is intended to go inside the tub for the reasons mentioned above. Problem solved!!
- Outside when you're not in the shower, inside when you're in the shower. Otherwise water runs down it onto the floor as you shower. For baths leave it out. It's in the way and cold to the touch.
